Overview

This 3-day Asterisk course examines Asterisk architecture, installation and set up, and will enable delegates to build a functioning Asterisk Call Server with complete Voice over IP service using SIP and IAX. The course is geared towards hands on implementation with about 60% of time spent on hands on exercises and configuration.

The format of this course is instructor-led with hands on labs throughout the course.  Delegates receive a comprehensive manual packed with information to refer to after the course has taken place.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have a reasonable understanding of Voice over IP and packet based communications. It is also important that candidates have some experience with Linux installation, configuration and administration, as this course will not cover an introduction to Linux. Only the Linux skills that relate to Asterisk will be covered by this training course.
