Overview

Multi-Protocol Label Switching is a technology widely deployed in Operator's networks to provide the transport of IP and support quality of service and the provision of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). Although initially used for the transport of IP only, MPLS has evolved and adapted so that today it can be used to support a variety of protocols as well as Carrier Ethernet services.

This 3-hour programme provides a level of knowledge that is suitable for anyone intending to attend the 5-day Carrier Ethernet Services Explained course, and sit the MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional exam.
