Overview

Ethernet as a Layer 2 technology has evolved since its first introduction elevating Ethernet to a position where it provides support for differentiated services across distributed LAN infrastructures in the enterprise domain, and beyond, where today it is being implemented within Operator's networks as a Carrier Class Layer 2 technology known as Carrier Ethernet.

This 3-hour programme provides participants intending to attend the 5-day Carrier Ethernet Services Explained course, and sit the MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional exam, the opportunity to gain a suitable level of knowledge of Ethernet, bridging and switching principles and thus improve their chance of success in the exam.
