Course Description:

This is a three-day Instructor-led course for advanced ProxySG users. The course provides networking professionals with knowledge of how to configure Blue Coat Proxy appliances for high availability and multi-site deployments, advanced policy features, web content control, P2P control, IM control, streaming media control, application acceleration and reverse proxy deployments, and effective user monitoring using splash pages, coaching pages and compliance pages.

 

This course is intended for Networking Professionals administering Blue Coat appliances, Security Auditors and Architects, System Engineers and Post Sale Support Technicians.

 

Delegates attending this course will be able to:

• Configure Blue Coat Proxy appliance for high availability and multi-site deployments, advance policy features
  
• Configure Blue Coat proxy for advanced authentication using NTLM and LDAP
  
• Configure Transparent Proxy authentication
  
• Setup Splash pages, coaching pages and compliance pages

Prerequisites:

Before attending this class you must have attended either:
- Blue Coat Certified Proxy Administrator course
or both:
- Blue Coat Proxy Fundamentals and Blue Coat Proxy Administrator Upgrade courses
