Course Description:

The Master Class extension to the VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management III NG course offers comprehensive training to enhance enterprise knowledge of VPN-1/FireWall-1 Next Generation (NG), addressing network planning, real-world deployment scenarios, configuration troubleshooting and Secure Platform deployment.

 

Who should attend:
Systems administrators, security managers and network engineers implementing VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG in an enterprise setting, and individuals seeking the Check Point Certified Security Expert Plus: Enterprise Integration and Troubleshooting (CCSE plus) certification.

 

Certification:
This course complements the Man III course in supplying the requirements for the Check Point Certified Security Expert Plus (CCSE+) NG certification. A separate examination (not part of the course) is available for those delegates who wish to have formal certification.

 

Objectives:
- Install and configure Check Point's Secure Platform operating system
- Plan a secure network and identify risks to a network
- Configure Check Point products to provide solutions for real world scenarios, combining solutions defined in previous courses
- Implement VPN-1/FireWall-1 in an enterprise or distributed environment
- Configure Management High Availability
- Configure Multiple Entry Point (MEP)
- Identify VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG debugging tools and apply protocol analysers to capture and view packet information
- Utilise Check Point tools for troubleshooting installations

Prerequisites:

Delegates must already have attended the VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management I NG, VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management II NG and VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management III NG courses.
