A 2-day Training Course on Understanding Wireless LANs; overview of technology . Learn to connect, configure & troubleshoot wireless services.

Prerequisites:

This course assumes attendees already have basic knowledge of data communications, LANs, IP and VoIP systems. No prior knowledge of radio or Wireless systems will be assumed. Delegates can attend these courses to gain the prerequisite knowledge:

• In this exercise we will use wireless services to deliver multimedia and identify the problems in achieving this.

• A set of access points will be configured and students will use Netstumbler to view the connected networks and discover other networks near-by. Attendees will measure the coverage parameters and record potential data rates.
