Course Description:

This course is designed to introduce the student to the advantages and technical concepts of HSDPA within a WCDMA mobile environment. This course can be delivered as a stand alone one day course or incorporated in a 3 day WCDMA Technical Description course. If taken as stand alone the student must have knowledge of WCDMA as certain topics will be taken as known.

Prerequisites:

A good understanding of 3G technologies and attendance of the WCDMA for UMTS technical description course. The course is designed for engineers with a view of implementing the HSDPA facility within their 3G/Rel 4 network.
