Course Description:

Citrix® access infrastructure software helps organizations provide easy, secure, and instant access to enterprise information and applications, while controlling IT costs and complexity. The Citrix MetaFrame® Access Suite is access infrastructure for the ondemand enterprise. This suite of products centralizes and safeguards access to applications and information, and enables IT departments to deliver, manage, monitor and measure these resources on demand.

 

This blended course provides the learner with the detailed information necessary to design secure web access solutions using both Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager and the web interface of Citrix MetaFrame XP™ Presentation Server. Learners are presented with the information needed to successfully design, test and integrate Citrix web access solutions.

 

This course includes the following:
- Instructor-led course CX6102AB Citrix Web Access: Design and Integration 
- eLearning course CX6104AW Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server: Client Deployment

 

Learners are provided with an eLearning voucher access code as part of the course materials that enables registration into the eLearning course CX6104AW.

This course is intended for experienced solutions architects, systems integrators and IT professionals familiar with Citrix® technologies.

Prerequisites:

The following knowledge and experience is highly recommended for the successful completion of this course:
Systems or network administration in Microsoft® Windows® 2000 environments
Administration of Citrix MetaFrame XP™ Presentation Server, Enterprise Edition
Passing score on Citrix exam 220, 221 or 222
Passing score on Citrix exam 610
Previous attendance in the following Citrix training courses is highly recommended prior to attending CTX-6102:

CX6100 Citrix Core Technologies and Architecture
CX6101 Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server: Design and Integration

• Explain design considerations for implementing the web interface with secure gateway
• Describe the architecture of secure gateway components for a MetaFrame® Secure Access Manager deployment
• Explain design considerations for web interface user access and security
• Design single-hop and double-hop deployments for web interface with secure gateway
