Course Description:
This 4-day course provides instructor-led training with assisted, hands-on labs. The curriculum is designed to give students a firm understanding of the Cisco Aironet product set, radio frequency theory, 802.11 standards, WLAN topologies, basic antenna theory and an introduction to WLAN security and bridging techniques. Hands-on access point and client adaptor labs provide attendees with experience setting up and securing a wireless LAN. Presentation material will explore WLAN applications in specific markets, WLAN topologies and design concerns, essential equipment, AP configuration, and site survey techniques.
