Course Description:

This course is designed for engineers and planners tasked with planning and implementing a UMTS network. It covers aspects of UMTS evolution, network design and planning and optimisation techniques. At the end of the course, delegates will be able to: - Understand the principles of network design - Understand how to plan and implement a UMTS network - Understand the issues faced when planning the network - Understand the traffic issues that could come with UMTS network

Prerequisites:

Delegates should ideally have network planning experience with GSM networks to fully appreciate the course. If delegates do not have relevant experience then attendance on a GSM Cellular Design course would be suggested prior to attending this course.
