Course Description:

Nokia Horizon Manager v1.2 is a one-day course providing in-depth technical lab training. This course offers hands-on exercises using Windows® 2000 workstations & Nokia IP Security Platforms, on a live network. Lab exercises are based on real-life scenarios where you will install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows installations.

Nokia Horizon Manager is a purpose-built security network systems management tool for rapid deployment of Nokia IP Security Platforms. Natively interfacing with the hardened IPSO operating system, it provides centralized systems management for maintenance and recovery procedures of the underlying OS, hardware and applications. Role based administration controls user access to devices and features and tracks completed actions via audit logs. Supporting existing security administration roles and responsibilities, Nokia Horizon Manager achieves extensive visibility into the security network and can be relied upon to develop consistent administrative procedures for managing security networks. Nokia Horizon Manager securely communicates with Nokia IP Security Platforms using SSH with RSA and DSA authentication.
