ISDN, the Integrated Services Digital Network, constitutes the most important advance in communications since the advent of digital transmission and digital switching. To capitalise on this advance, staff members must fully understand the fundamental concepts and practical technology of ISDN. This course provides an overview and technical introduction to ISDN. You gain the practical knowledge you need to plan and evaluate ISDN services for your own organisation. Delegates attending this course will be able to: - Plan the evolution of your voice, data and LAN systems toward ISDN - Specify ISDN services with your network provider - Evaluate and select ISDN equipment - Wire and install basic rate access - Decode ISDN protocols - Prepare for the future evolution of ISDN to broadband ISDN
