Course Description:

This course provides a one day overview of IP and Data Networking for sales or other professionals who need to appreciate the technology but will not be implementing it hands-on themselves. It provides an introduction to the terminology, key concepts and functions of the Internet and its major protocols, and assists sales professionals to acquire the vocabulary of terms used in the field in order to gain credibility with customers. IP is now the foundation of virtually all communications from Email to voice and even to next generation television networks. It is crucial for all strategic staff to appreciate its functions, possibilities, limitations and advantages. The ability to discuss key concepts and appreciate how IP based services function is important to all key staff today.
