This three day instructor led course introduces developers to Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.X.

 

The course will provide developers with the opportunity to gain solid hands on experience in:

• Windows Presentation Foundation and ASP.NET AJAX Integration
• Key features of Visual Studio Team System 2008

Prerequisites:

Developer with experience of Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0

• What’s new in C# 3.0?
• What’s new in Visual Basic 9.0? (Optional, only if the audience has any VB developers)
• .NET Language Integrated Query (LINQ)
• Using LINQ with Relational Data
• Lab#1: Choose either C# 3.0 or VB 9 – language extensions Lab
• Lab#2: Choose either C# 3.0 or VB 9 – LINQ Lab (Note: Choosing VB 9 is an objects LINQ Lab, Choosing C# is a SQL LINQ Lab)
• .NET Framework 3.5 Enhancements
