With Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager, Citrix is extending access beyond applications to internal and external data, documents, Web content and service in a workplace that is tailored to each user's needs.  With Citrix training, you can stay on the leading edge of this important technology.

Prerequisites:

Recommended experience in the following:



- Systems/network administration in Microsoft Windows 2000 environments
- Administration of Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server
- Administration of Citrix MetaFrame XP for Windows

This course includes the following modules:

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Install and configure Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager
• Identify Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager features, benefits, components, architecture and system requirements
• Install and configure the Index Server for MetaFrame
• Install and configure Secure Gateway to secure access between Citrix MetaFrame
• Secure Access Manager and MetaFrame XP server farms
• Use the Access Management Console to: Configure and administer an access server farm and access center; Configure the access center through altering the header and changing the theme of a page; Import Content Delivery Agents; Edit access center menus; Export and import an access center
• Use the Secure Gateway Management Console to monitor: Connection information; Secure Gateway performance counters; Event Viewer activity related to Secure Gateway
• Configure CDAs to provide access to: The Internet; File systems; Databases; Applications; Index Servers
• Configure the Program Neighborhood and Embedded Application CDAs to provide application access to access center users through integration with MetaFrame XP server farms
