Course Description:

This four-day course provides the necessary skills to plan, install SoftGrid v4, including basic system components, hands on lab environment, an introduction to sequencing, and key new features.

The first day will summarize a detailed overview of application virtualization and the different components of the SoftGrid system and will end with a hands on lab installing the SoftGrid server. The second day will include a detailed discussion of the SoftGrid clients and the administration of the SoftGrid system with several hands on labs that will enforce these topics. The third day is dedicated to learning the sequencing process. It includes planning and installing the sequencer and hands-on labs that guide students through the sequencing of an application suite. The course ends with an intense hands on lab session on Sequencing and advanced Sequencing with common troubleshooting tips within the sequencing process and troubleshooting key areas within the SoftGrid Platform.

This course is recommended for SoftGrid business partners well as administrators who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of SoftGrid and includes the following modules:
