This course is designed to be an introduction to the unique situation of billing for GSM services. Effective billing solutions have enabled the GSM industry to grow and evolve into the services we receive today and will enable the wireless market to evolve further onto 3G mobile services. This course will cover all aspects of mobile billing, processes and features, and will raise important issues for future development to GPRS and onto 3G services.

At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
Understand the processes of billing mobile services and their idiosyncrasies in comparison with fixed line billing
Understand the issues faced with mobile operators for pricing, tariffs and packages
Understand how evolved mobile services will be billed and what this means to the customers


Prerequisites:

Delegates do not have to have any prior billing experience, however an understanding of how mobile operators work will be advantageous. This course is designed for new starters and less experienced billing professionals who require a thorough overview of billing for mobile services.
