Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA)

Overview

Designed for experienced networking professionals with beginner to intermediate knowledge of Juniper Firewall/VPN products and ScreenOS software, this written exam verifies the candidate's basic understanding of Internet and security technology, and related device configuration. JNCIA exam topics are based on the content of the Configuring Juniper Networks Firewall/IPSec VPN Products instructor-led training course.

Exam topics include:

- Administering Firewall/VPN devices

- Layer 2/Transparent Mode operations

- Layer 3 operations, policy configuration

- Address translation

- VPN technology and implementation

The JNCIA is valid for two years. Re-certification is achieved by passing the current version of the JNCIA exam.

This exam is NOT a prerequisite for the Juniper Networks Certified Internetwork Specialist (JNCIS) certification.
